BACKGROUND AND SCORING METHODOLOGY

  1. A GROUP OF #ADOS COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS FROM AROUND THE COUNTRY DEVELOPED AND ADVOCATED A COVID19 BLACK #ADOS AGENDA FOR THE CBC CALLING FOR IMMEDIATE COVID19 STIMULUS RELIEF SPECIFICALLY FOR ADOS. THIS AGENDA FOCUSED ON THREE AREAS OF IMMEDIATE CONCERN:

    1. HEALTHCARE

    2. GENERAL ECONOMICS

    3. BUSINESS ECONOMICS

  2. THE CBC THEN SUBMITTED ITS OWN CBC'S COVID19 BLACK AGENDA. THIS AGENDA WAS OBTAINED AND REVIEWED ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING:.

    1. EACH CBC COVID19 BLACK AGENDA ITEM WAS READ AND TAGGED AS RELATING TO HEALTH, GENERAL OR BUSINESS ECONOMICS. ANY CBC AGENDA ITEM NOT RELATED TO HEALTH, BUSINESS OR GENERAL ECONOMICS WAS FILTERED OUT.

    2. EACH REMAINING AGENDA ITEM WAS THEN SORTED AND GROUPED INTO 3 SECTIONS BY TYPE: HEALTH, BUSINESS ECONOMICS, GENERAL ECONOMICS.

    3. RESEARCHERS THEN PERFORMED A SECTION BY SECTION, AGENDA ITEM BY AGENDA ITEM COMPARISON BETWEEN THE CBC COVID19 BLACK AGENDA AND THE COVID19 BLACK #ADOS AGENDA, USING THE SCORING SYSTEM BELOW:

      1. 1 POINT IF THE #ADOS ASSEMBLY AGENDA ITEM COULD BE LOCATED WITHIN THE CBC AGENDA.

      2. ½ POINT IF THE AGENDA ITEMS MATCHED EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THE CBC AGENDA ITEM WAS NOT SPECIFIC FOR ADOS, AMERICAN DESCENDANTS OF SLAVERY, AMERICANS DESCENDED FROM PERSONS ENSLAVED IN THE US  (VISIT ADOS101.COM TO LEARN MORE).

      3. O POINT IF THE #ADOS ASSEMBLY AGENDA ITEM COULD NOT BE LOCATED WITHIN THE CBC AGENDA.

  1. FOR EACH SECTION (HEALTH, BUSINESS ECONOMICS, AND GENERAL ECONOMICS) A SECTION SCORE WAS COMPUTED BY ADDING EACH POINT AND ½ POINT EARNED, DIVIDING BY THE NUMBER OF POSSIBLE POINTS FOR THE SECTION, AND MULTIPLYING THE RESULT BY 100( TO CREATE A PERCENTAGE SCORE FOR EACH SECTION).

  2. NEXT, A TOTAL AGENDA SCORE WAS COMPUTED BY ADDING EACH OF THE SECTION POINT TOTALS, DIVIDING BY THE TOTAL NUMBER OF POINTS AVAILABLE, THEN MULTIPLYING THE RESULT BY 100 ( TO CREATE A PERCENTAGE SCORE FOR THE ENTIRE AGENDA).

  3. EACH SECTION PERCENT SCORE AND THE TOTAL PERCENT SCORE IS THEN MAPPED TO A LETTER GRADE BASED ON THE FOLLOWING:

    1. A = 90 - 100%

    2. B = 80 - 89%

    3. C = 70 - 79%

    4. D = 60 - 69%

    5. F = < 60%

QUESTION:

WHY ARE ALL THE SCORES THE SAME?

ANSWER:

WHEN IT COMES TO ITS COVID19 LEGISLATIVE BLACK AGENDA, THE CBC SPEAKS WITH 1 VOICE. THE CBC SUBMITS ITS COVID19 LEGISLATIVE BLACK AGENDA TOGETHER AS A GROUP. THERE IS ONE CBC COVID19 BLACK AGENDA THAT REPRESENTS ALL CBC MEMBERS. BECAUSE OF THIS, EACH MEMBER RECEIVES THE SAME LEGISLATIVE BLACK AGENDA SCORE.
